Educational Background

  • Master of Education, University of British Columbia, 1996. Specialized in Reading Education.
  • Additional Qualifications in English as a Second Language, part 1 and 2, University of Toronto, 1994 and 1995.
  • Bachelor of Education, Queen's University, 1993. Primary/ Junior division.
  • Bachelor of Arts (honours), Trent University, 1992. English and Cultural Studies.

Teaching Background

  • Bessborough Kindergarten teacher 1997-present
  • Grade 3/4 teacher, Thorncliffe Public School, 1996-1997
  • Occasional teacher, 1993-1995.
  • Summer school teacher, drama, stories and books, primary remedial, 1991-1995.
